• Vera Rubin - Astronomer who pioneered work on galaxy rotation rates.
• Wilhelm Röntgen - A German physicist known for producing and detecting electromagnetic radiation.
• Ernő Rubik - A Hungarian inventor, known for creating the Rubik’s Cube.
