Fedora 41 - Sleep/Suspend issue

Hi!
Completely fresh install of Fedora 41 (6.13.11-200.fc41.x86_64) on this hardware:

  • ASRock B650M PG Lightning
  • AMD Ryzen 5 7600
  • (Is any other component relevant?)

I have disabled every type of sleep/suspend setting I can find, but still, it manages to put itself into some sort of sleep-mode after an unknown amount of time.
I get back to the PC and see the power button blinking (indicating sleep mode or similar). I smash some keys and do some laps around the mouse pad to wake it up. Power button light becomes static, giving me the impression that it’s waking up. However, no amount of waiting or input into the system does eventually provide me with a video signal. The usb devices seem to go back to sleep after a few second as well.

I’m completely at a loss here. No idea why this is happening or how I can fix it. It’s getting kind of annoying having to power cycle the whole system every time this happens.

Extremely thankful for any insight!

What desktop environment are you using?

The default Gnome version 47. Wayland for the windowing system if that matters.

What settings have you tried?
Have you edited any config files?
