I went to the first @computersavvy and did sudo dnf upgrade --refresh

Yes, you repeated the original error. Now I suspect that any upgrades using the fedora repo will fail.

My suggestion was to replace the downloaded file content with what I posted and not replace it again with the downloaded data since what I showed was the default while what you downloaded seems to be a template that gets altered when fedora is initially installed.

The inttf error is because you seem to have packages installed from that repo that conflict with other installed packages.
You can find out exactly what packages are in that category by running dnf list installed | grep inttf and looking at the provided list. (please post that for us)

You may be able to solve the issue with sudo dnf upgrade --disablerepo inttf --allowerasing. It is a known fact that nvidia and gstreamer packages from inttf and rpmfusion often have conflicts of the sort you are showing.

My recommendation
Disable the inttf repo and never use it.
sudo dnf config-manager --disable inttf

Now we have some details that are meaningful.
You have some i686 packages installed that are interfering among other things.
I would suggest a full removal of all the nvidia packages then reinstall them. Following which the other errors can be individually addressed.
dnf remove '*nvidia*' --exclude nvidia-gpu-firmware
dnf install akmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-cuda
Wait at least 5 minutes after that installation before rebooting.

Once that is done try the upgrade again (disabling the inttf repo is not required for these commands since you have already disabled it with dnf config-manager)

It appears you are really far behind in updates. The kernel 6.9 was replaced on fedora 39 quite some time back and the current kernel appears to be 6.11.4-101

Thus the installation of the nvidia drivers which requires those missing packages cannot be done with the currently installed kernels (6.9.8 & 6.9.12)

An upgrade to the latest kernel will normally be required to enable installing the latest nvidia drivers.

A workaround that may work would be to run dnf upgrade --refresh --skip-broken and allow that to complete then reboot before installing the nvidia drivers. (suggested by the last line in that message)

Hi all, I really appreciate the help honestly, and sorry, Im kind of new in to this.

The thing is I must did something wrong, but my situation got worst.
Yesterday after some of the test I did restarted the computer and got stuck on the LEGION when system, starts, so I did shutdown with the button.

This morning I came to turn it again and I get this screen.

I dont know why I have all that options! And if i press ‘e’ to edit the Fedora 40 I get this options.

At this point I’m super lost…

A clean install will make it easier for people to help with future problems. but since you have Nvidia hardware you will probably encounter similar issues in the future, so you should take this opportunity to practice some rescue procedures.

You shuold be able to boot the system to a text console where you may be able to fix the current issue. Your image for the grub2 edit mode cuts off part of the linux command line, but I think the you can get to a text console as follows:

At the grub2 menu, use the e again, move to the line that starts with linux, erase the rhgb quiet, and add <space>3 at the end of the line so you see ...=nouveau 3. Then press <Ctrl-X> or F10 to boot to a text console. If this works, try the previous suggestion:

sudo dnf config-manager --enable updates
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh

I did try, not wokring though, it says Booting a command list

I didnt have clear though if <space>3 at the end after nouveau means literally write that or live 3 spaces and then the 3 (sorry my ignorance)

Hi guys!

Sorry to desapoint you! But I wasent able to wait anymore and I went to a full install with Fedora 41 (Did I made another mistake, I dont know) Thing is that camara is still not working, was working perfectly with Fedora 39. So im tempted to go back to fedrora 39. I’ll try parsec soon to see if its wokrs!

I just tried and the same, I cant enable hardware visualization, and I cant use the second screen, that is key for me for work, and it was working perfectly before.

So even with fedora 41 clean install neither of my problems was solved. As is so fresh ill try fedora 39 so I can see if its related to that
