Fedora 36 Silverblue - No Flatpak icons

I just installed Fedora Silverblue 36 and everything works fine. After booting the first time, the launcher looked fine. After installing some apps (Bitwarden, Thunderbird, …) I noticed that all newly installed apps are missing an icon in the launcher.

What I’ve tried:

  • rebooting several times
  • rpm-ostree update`
  • sudo flatpak update
  • flatpak repair
  • sudo flatpak repair
  • rebooting again

How can I solve this and make the icons appear?

Can you see if:
sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f /var/lib/flatpak/exports/share/icons/hicolor/

sudo gtk4-update-icon-cache -f /var/lib/flatpak/exports/share/icons/hicolor/.

makes any difference.
