FAS OTP registration not working?

I am attempting to add an OTP token to my FAS account for 2FA (two-factor authentication).

After revealing the QR code, the authenticator app will not register it via phone’s camera. The backup option to manually enter the token URL registers in the mobile app, but the verification code entry in FAS is always “incorrect”.

This has been tried with Microsoft Authenticator and Proton Authenticator.

Make sure the time is correct on the device used for OTP.
Some networks restrict NTP traffic, breaking time sync and OTP.

Make sure you are not using ‘dark mode’ on the page… I have seen that prevent the qr code from looking right/decoding.
