I’m facing an issue with my ASUS TUF Gaming F15 laptop. In Fedora, I can’t seem to find a way to adjust the fan speed. My system is clean, without any modifications. The fans start running and creating noise when I use the browser. On Windows, I could control them by reducing the CPU frequency or disabling turbo boost in the Windows power settings. How can I address this issue in Fedora?
I’ve heard about a GNOME extension that allows for CPU frequency control, but I’m not sure if it will help in this situation. I would greatly appreciate any advice and recommendations!
