Failed to boot after update

I’m currently on 5.17.12-200.fc35.x86_64. After installing the system updates (prompt by the system), the system is updated to 5.18.11-100.fc35.x86_64.

Now it no longer boots, and showing the following error:

error: ../../grub-core/fs/fshelp.c:257:file `/initramfs-5.18.11-100.fc35.x86_64.img' not found.

Press any key to continue...

Any clue what’s the problem and how to fix it?

Boot to an older kernel (grub menu is available by holding down the shift key during power on) .

We then can do trouble shooting.

One possibility would be to do dnf distro-sync --skip-broken --allowerasing --refresh and/or dnf reinstall kernel*5.18.11* since it sounds like the kernel initramfs did not get properly created with the update.
