F42 The brightness bar disappeared

I encountered several issues after updating to f42:

  1. The brightness bar disappeared

  2. The bar flashes when adjusting keyboard brightness.

  3. In settings/Displays/Built-in display. when I turned on HDR and adjust the bar, the system froze, with the output of journalctl --follows:

For the HDR slider issue there is an existing bug report that you can reply to:

I haven’t looked if there are existing tickets for the others as well.

The upstream issue for the missing brightness bar is below. The issue has been fixed upstream but it will take a short while to come back to us:
