Ethernet static IP not started at boot wol broken drops on suspend

This is really bothersome.

My ethernet is supposed to be started at boot with a static IP address regardless of what DE I’m using.
It doesn’t work anymore and I need to find out why. Something that was updated in the last week broke basic network function of 2 F38 machines!

I don’t know the changes, but suspect that using the gnome network control panel you could remove the current config then reconnect and it likely would work.
