Is the following still in the range of „easy“?

I seem to recall there being a GitHub repo with it in it, I’ll post it if I can find it.

Timeshift is not the solution, because it does not work correctly when the system crashes completely and has SELinux issues when coming back after restore.

What exactly do you mean by that?
