Default adwaita cursor glitches and disappears on F40

Update 4/26: I’ve submitted a bug report to gnome-shell here: Default adwaita cursor glitches and disappears on F40 (#7618) · Issues · GNOME / gnome-shell · GitLab

Greetings,

Upgraded via Gnome Software from 39 to 40, and overall everything is working okay. One bug I have noticed is the mouse cursor doesn’t always accurately draw the correct cursor sometimes. This can be replicated by opening up Firefox, then clicking on the Notification Center then (with the Notification Center still open), dragging your mouse from the Notification Center over Firefox and watch the cursor draw the incorrect cursor, it should show the default mouse cursor, but instead it shows some “dragging” type cursor like when resizing windows cursor. Below are two videos to demonstrate this bug.

If anyone can also replicate any of this, please let me know as well.

Also, I’m wondering if anyone knows where I should file this bug OR if it’s already been filed, please let me know. I’m already considering between mutter, gnome-shell, or firefox to report.

In the second video below, when using Firefox, interacting with the Notification Center, then going to open up another GTK3 app, in this case I tested Inkscape. And when flipping between the two, and/or sometimes opening one of Inkscapres menus first before going back to the Notification Center and then moving the cursor over the Firefox window (once again with Notification Center open when moving the mouse), causes the mouse to disappear anytime it is drawn over Firefox. Hope this bug can get fixed soon.
