Can't stop GNOME Shell screencast on Fedora38

I’m using Fedora38 workstation on GNOME Classic.

I tried to record a screencast by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R or the PrintScreen key. It started recording successfully but I couldn’t find a way to stop it, so I had to kill /usr/bin/gjs /usr/share/gnome-shell/org.gnome.Shell.Screencast from the terminal.

How can I stop the GNOME Shell screencast properly?

When you start recording, there should be a tray icon that you can click to stop.

Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Shift-R again is also supposed to stop it, but it might be broken (?).
