Broadcom-wl not working after upgrading kernel to 6.12.4

I have an older MacBook Pro that utilizes the broadcom-wl driver for WiFi. It seems every time the kernel is updated, this driver fails - or at least my WiFi fails. In the past, I’ve been able to resolve this by reinstalling the driver. Not this time.

Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions on what I can do to resolve this?

UPDATE: I performed another system update and “akmod-wl” was upgraded which solved my WiFi issue.

I have the same problem on my a1466, just like you updated, I’ve tried everything and nothing works

dnf upgrade --refresh

Thanks :)))

Let’s mark this below as a solution, right?

Yes, I ran the command dnf upgrade --refresh
updated akmod-wl, and everything is working again.
