Thank you , i will check the link

was the bluetooth detected in your case
i.e when you did lspci the output stated that there is a bluetooth device ?
in my case the hardware is never seen.
although it works under widows ok
the aqetical you have sent me deals more with a detected blurtooth device

I have this wifi/bluetooth combo adapter, and lspci shows it, but probably since it is a combo device there is no mention of bluetooth there:

$ lspci | grep RTL
06:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8822BE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi adapter

But bluetoothctl list shows it as Controller [MAC] [hostname] [default].

Bluetooth is working for me.

I don’t really remember, it was a couple of years ago. It may have been the way @fasulia said - run bluetoothctl and see if it is picked up. If neither the system nor bluetoothctl sees it, there isn’t much software can do for you.

ok thanks for the tip , i thought it get detected as a separate device

ok i will check thank you for the feedback
