Bluetooth enabled on startup, cannot disable

Recently installed Fedora Linux 43 (Workstation Edition), and cannot for the life of me change the behaviour of Bluetooth being automatically active on startup. This seems to be a recurring issue across GNOME.

Have tried all methods in this thread:

I have also installed TLP and changed the config, as per this thread as well:

I’m wondering if there’s something that is just completely overriding these workarounds with 43, or perhaps my config files aren’t being read correctly?

Take this with a grain of salt because all I did was Google it and then look at what AI said. AI says that there is a config file… /etc/bluetooth/main.conf. Don’t know if you have looked at that file already… Make sure AutoEnable is not set to “true”…

Mate, this was literally the first thing I tried BUT when I went back to check again after your reply, I saw that I had forgotten to uncomment/remove the hash from the line in the config file. Thanks for getting me to look again. Solved, oopsie.

Awesome. Glad I could help out. Yeah, sometimes it is the little things that we miss…
