Battle.net does not detect external hard drive when loading from Steam, Lutris or Bottles

When I click on “Locate the game,” Battle.net will not even see the Seagate External HDD USB 3.0.
When I scan for games, it says “We could not find any Battle.net games on your system. Did we miss one?” And when I click on “Locate,” I see the “Select Folder” option without the drive:

.
I do have full permission for the drive and yes it is mounted.

Couldn’t find anything about this online.

Figured it out.
In BIOS of PC, if Legacy Support is disabled, Battle.net will not recognize external hard drive. Enabling Legacy Support in BIOS of PC enables Battle.net to recognize the external hard drive.

I’m curious for more details why this would work! I wouldn’t expect something like that to affect through Wine stuff.

I’m brand new to Linux so I have no idea. Should I remove this post if there is no way to confirm that this is what resolved the issue? It could also have been something else, like moving the USB to the top (above 2nd place Fedora) of the Boot Order in BIOS. Other than that, I didn’t make any other changes but they resolved the issue.
