Asking recommendation for fedora kde version

Hello, I’m quite new in Linux and f42 KDE probably my best distro I’ve ever had.
but there is some known issue that still bugging me, that was the notification thats not clickable or can’t go to its respectable apps.

So if there any any older/other version thats not affected by it and/or less bugs please tell me.

You will need to share what problems you are talking about.

In general each new release of KDE plasma is improving on the last.
Personally I want to get on to plama 6.4 once it exits beta so I can get the improvements it’s delivering.

The problem was like i stated before, when there is notification, i cant go to its respectable apps when i click it. For example when there is discord notification when others mentioning me in it, its notification show up but i cant go to discord by clicking on it.
I’ve doing several clean install + dnf update in case i got messed up when installing it, but no difference

I’ve been looking/asking here and there included in “Fedora Linux” discord but didn’t get any result. The only thing i found was these two post:

That’s led me to asking if there is older version that didn’t have this issue, i dont mind switching to it and if there is a fix to it later will probably update it back.

This thread from openSUSE forums suggests that it will be fixed in Plasma 6.4.

See also KDE bug tracker.

Plasma 6.4 should be released next week, and it usually doesn’t take too long for Fedora to incorporate the changes.

It’s not clear that going to an earlier version would fix your issues, so it might make sense to just wait a short while for 6.4.

Thank you for sharing that and I will wait for it. To be honest changing version was just an option in case it will take long for it to be fixed. I’m just so lost since I’ve been facing this issue quite long since its release.
