A proposal for a local Fedora session

Hello Fedora community,
I am an Outreachy applicant for the Fedora DEI team and I’m organising a session for my local open source community in Kampala on how to join and contribute to Fedora.
I plan to introduce users to the different teams in the Fedora project, have them open a FAS account and join a team’s communication channel of their choosing.
I would like to also talk about the different avenues of contributing i.e. Through Outreachy and Google summer of code and docs and through non of those avenues.

I’m looking for support in the form of speakers and volunteers to help me bring this plan to fruition.

What type of speakers are you looking for? Did you want people from particular groups, long-term contributors to talk about what it is like here, or someone to talk about Fedora’s priorities going foward?
