Wi-fi USB adaptor not being recognise by Fedora

Realtek 8822BU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB NIC

I have this adaptor to use for connective to Wi-fi. When I installed Fedora and tried connecting to the wifi it would not work driver version is UPT (1030.44.1014.2024)

I have no idea how to fix this, I have read some sites, gone to the hardware for linux page and I just can’t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, it is my first time installing Fedora, I am new to all of this. The system seemed to have worked properly and everything looks good except for the wifi issue

Any help would be appreciated!

can you give output of lspci and lsusb

Efforts to provide an in-kernel driver that supports 8822BU (among others). The author recommends Mediatek WiFi 6 and 7 chip based adapters over Realtek. If wifi access is “mission critical” for you, consider purchasing a Mediatek USB WiFi dongle.
