What's the deal with moc?

Upon trying to upgrade to Fedora Workstation 41 (yeah, I know, but better late than never…) I was informed that moc (music on console) will no longer be supported. Where can I find more information about why not? Is there a suggested alternative?

It looks like it’s still in rpmfusion

 sudo dnf info moc
