What happened to the CentOS Forums?

I was a member of the CentOS Forums , but now I get a Private Discussion or does not exist. There were a lot of answers to questions I both asked as well as answered. Somehow I got shuffled to the Fedora Discussion. O.K. I assumed that the posts that were on the CentOS Forums would have been reposted in the Fedora Discussion Forums. I have no idea how to get back tp a post I made a few years ago that I went looking for. Even if the CentOS Forums is no more I would at least expect that posts that were made would still be available to the general public are are seeking answers to a problem that was answered in the CentOS Forums.

I don’t think this was done. CentOS category in this fedoraproject discourse instance started from scratch.

From Ask Fedora to CentOS

The CentOS Forums were run by volunteers and not by the CentOS Infrastructure group. The volunteers ended their work when CentOS Linux 7 reached its End of Life on 2024-06-30, and the service was turned off.
The service was not transitioned because the forum data was in very different formats, and no volunteers came forward to do that work.

If you know people that know these former admins, there might be volunteers today to port that information to this discussion.

I’m interested in RHEL for developer resources. They have a feature for Red Hat Developer subscription for individuals at no cost with no support that is fine for me but it stops working randomly for no apparent reason so I now have CentOS Stream 9 that works fine with InstructLab, Podman AI with Cuda and ROS 2 for RHEL 9. Not 100% binary compatible but easier to use than bells and whistles of Fedora latest and greatest. What happen … ! (finding myself in Fedora with an active Red Hat subscription that gives great detail for fine tuning the system and synthetic how to this and that).
