Virtual Machine Manager - Writeable Share in Windows VM

Hi All

I’m using Virtual Machine Manager as Boxes doesn’t work well.

I’ve done a lot of research but I can’t find an answer so I thought I’d ask here.
Reminder: I’m still gaining experience in Linux (Fedora 42) so apologies in advance.

I’m trying to make my share writeable. Attempting to turn my files from read-only to archive inside of the Windows VM is not working. In fact, I suspect it’s a simple option I’m not selecting or I’m not adding some code to give it permission? From my searching it has something to do with xml section (in the application but I’m not sure where) or terminal.

I have installed the guest toolkit, which has made sharing things like USB possible here.
I really just don’t know where to go next.

Your help will be appreciated, thanks.

Is the share on F42? I mean the fiscal Folder?

You would have to switch it on separately in the settings then:

If it is on Windows you have to search for a similar option to make it writable.
