VMware: Shared Folders not mounted automatically

My host operating system is Windows 10 x64. I have VMware Workstation Player installed on it. And I run Fedora on the virtual machine. I was using Fedora 29 for almost 2 years. When I upgraded to Fedora 33 I noticed that the Windows Shared Folders are not automatically mounted when the guest is restarted. I didn’t have this problem under Fedora 29. Now I tried with Fedora 34 and the problem is still here. I have to go Virtual Machine Settings → Options → Shared Folders → select “Disabled” → Ok → Virtual Machine Settings → Options → Shared Folders → select “Enabled” → Ok. Then I will have my C: drive mounted under /mnt/hgfs/. But in Fedora 29 it was automatic. Is this a problem with the vmware or with the operating system or both?
