Videos pauses for a 2 sec

I have installed many codecs on fedora 38 videos are runing but i see one small issue…first i blamed vlc but in you tube videos it does the same thing…pauzes (freezes) for a 2 sec, both on vlc and you tube so i know it is codec related…what i need is advice to remove completely all my codecs, and then install only ones what fedora needs…i have some conflict messages with codecs, so i know i did not do well…or maybe procedure is different, anyway i will be gratefull if someone gives me the way of doing this right (cause in some other distros codecs are installed by default)

After removing all non-fedora codecs you could follow these instructions.

gstreamer plugins are already installed…however sudo dnf group upgrade --with-optional Multimedia did upgrade something…but i didnt manage to find how to remove all non-fedora codecs…can you help me?

i just ran some you tube video with duration of 15 min. no freezing. so far…i will test in the vlc also and if it runs ok ill report…maybe that optional multimedia upgrade did the work…

ok in first minute of playing movie freezing occured…so i just to have remove non free codecs from fedora…just dont know how…i searched and didnt find nothing specific…

Problem fixed…i used software manager to uninstall the non free codecs gstreamer…there were 2 of them…and then i installed from your guide…after restart i saw that one gstreamer was installed other dont (GStreamer Multimedia Codecs - License Issues) that one caused the conflict with other gstreamer…now it works everything smoothly…thanks for your help…
