Hi everyone, when I format my pendrive in fat32, it doesn’t give any error, however, when creating a gpt partition table and formatting it as ntfs, it corrupts the pen, saying that the “backup gpt table is corrupted”.
It could be that the USB device is claiming to have a higher capacity than it has. See for example https://fight-flash-fraud.readthedocs.io/en/latest/introduction.html about this issue. You can install the f3 package from the Fedora repository for this test tool.
When creating a GPT partition table, a copy of the table is written to the last sectors of the unit, and these sectors may be faulty.
I started the app.
It’s going to take so long that I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t need this flash drive.
