USB DVD Failing

Suddenly since yesterday I can’t play DVDs on my external USB any longer with Fedora 41.

Plugging the same external drive into an older Fedora39 system still works.

Here’s some possibly related /var/log/messages:

if anyone has a hint for me.

I wonder if this a kernel issue. Did you just update to the 6.12 kernel?
Try reboot to the previous 6.1z kernel and see if the drive works?

Working now. Some update must have fixed it, not that I know what exactly. I have a feeling it wasn’t a kernel issue but something in KDE. I have no proof of that, however.
