Updating F41 KDE Plasma today now app windows slowly fade-in and fade-out

I updated my Dell xps15 tonight and now when launching new apps from KDE Plasma launcher, I slowly watch the window materialize kind of like in slow motion. Even the default KDE Plasma launcher fade-in and out when I use it. Fading in and out happens when I minimize or restore an app window. If I cannot figure this out, I’ll probably have to perform a scratch install.

Have a look at System Settings > General Behavior, and try increasing the animation speed.

Also go to Window Management > Desktop Effects and scroll down to the bottom. Is Window Open/Close Animation set to Fade? Change it to something else if you like.
