I see this when updating. What is this?
do it from commendline
pkcon update
maybe you can add -v which is --verbose to see if any error occurs
or sudo dnf update
Is this somthing I should do everytime?
what happened to dnf?
It’s showing 6 updates is it showing which file is not supported.
You can also try sudo pkcon refresh force
which will refresh the cache for gnome software then try again.
nooo surely not
but i recommend you to first reboot it should ask you that it will install updates if something fails use my method
sudo dnf update
[sudo] password for J:
Last metadata expiration check: 3:08:12 ago on Sat 29 Oct 2022 13:37:02 CEST.
Dependencies resolved.
Nothing to do.
Complete!
we are talking about the update with software center not with package manager so surely you can install with dnf without any issues but dnf is something different way of installing update then software center.
pkcon refresh force
will resolve this.
this maybe a caching error.
