Hi, I am having an issue where thumbnails do not appear in Nautilus when I connect my phone (samsung note 9). I have made sure the correct preferences are selected and I have increased the thumbnail limit in dconf editor, but I am still seeing generic thumbnails? Any help would be appreciated.
There’s a setting for thumbnails over remote filesystems that you also need to check. MTP is also not the fastest protocol, so you might need a bit of patience as well once you enable that.
Currently I have the setting, “Show thumbnails” set to “All Files”. Is there another setting I should change? Something I find odd is that fedora cannot determine the permissions of the folder I am attempting to view. Could that cause an issue with thumbnail generation?
