welcome to ask :fedora:

Could you please power off, then on again. As soon as the boot completes please post the output of dmesg so we can see if the device is not being recognized or if it is not even seen.

You could also see the output of journalctl -b but that will be more verbose and we may or may not be able to identify the error in that detailed info.

FYI, tried with fresh fedora 36 iso from usb and it wasn’t working.

It seems either that is the device in question or the system appears to not see your camera at all.

Does anyone else see anything different there?

Just little note it worked on Windows, bought device few days ago and it came with preinstalled windows, so I tried camera and it was working just fine. I doubt that camera is broken.
There is also mechanical privacy switch which is opened, I know it would be registered if it was related with privacy switch, but I’ll mention it to familiarize you with the case. There is no Camera toggle key on my keyboard. I’ve also checked BIOS and there is nothing related to camera there.

hi Jeff, is there anything I can do about this? like report it to devs so they can make driver or something?

bump, still not working

Hi, I have the same laptop with the same issue. I was wondering if someone managed to get this working?
