Even if there have been some nice changes for the Mobile theme in Discourse, I do miss the save as draft button.
It was available when clicking on Discard > save as Draft. Can we get that back.
Sometimes it saves as draft automatically, but not always! I would like to be able to have the control over that.
I saw now that the âsave as draftâ button has been removed while they say it saves all topics as draft when I Discard them.
I can not confirm that this option not works, as it was with the separate âsave as Draftâ button.
Several times I lost my work already, when I just wanted to continue on a other time, with a topic.
@mattdm are you still in change with the theming of Discourse? I wanted to ask on meta.discourse.org, however i should have the exact version number of what we do use and if we still use a default theme from discourse.
Weâve got our own modified theme, so itâs possible weâve introduced a bug somewhere that affects this. Iâm seeing drafts automatically saved if I close without discarding, though, fwiw.
I just tried it just now. âDraft Savedâ pops up in the right corner of the page, briefly, after the compose window closes.
My saves are automatically working too.
I wrote the above line, closed the window, came back to discourse, came to this page and my draft was here.
âDiscardâ will delete the draft.
ok, I used this so often before change that I am used to click on that.
Now I see hovering over the x (controls) Save and close!
