If you have that issue, like… a fedora distro that doesn’t have sound anymore. You can try:
systemctl --user restart pulseaudio
And hope for the best.

Since F34 Fedora Linux uses Pipewire by default, not PulseAudio anymore, unless you switched back to pulseaudio (sudo dnf swap --allowerasing pipewire-pulseaudio pulseaudio
).
