Special keyboard buttons (how to enable them) | Keybindings

hi. I got keyboard with some special buttons.
(for opening calculator, browser and other).
But it seams that KDE Fedora don´t bind them to programs and in settings i don´t find any option haw to bind them to open some program.

Is it possible to somehow bind them?
What i find is that is not new technology.
And keys like music skip or pause work so i think it could be possible.

I do not have special keys to test with but I would assume you would use System Setting/Keyboard/Shortcuts to bind the keys.

Can you try that?

I try that, but when i start recording shortcut and press the calculator button nothing happened like i dont push anithing.

its wierd. Because other keys like “Computer” or “Home Page” i can add as shortcuts.

I also test the keyboard with tester and the calculator key it self works.

Can only suggest that you ask kde devs on here: https://discuss.kde.org/

Added hardware, libinput

There is a tool for this, in the Fedora repos!

Bit it seems KDE has a native UI to do that!

In systemsettings under “keyboard shortcuts” you can add actions to do. And under “keyboard layout”, a bit complicated, you can add a custom layout, probably.
