Hi everyone.
I have a Lenovo T15 G2 with “Synaptics, Inc. Prometheus MIS Touch Fingerprint Reader”. I am using Fedora 37 KDE with x11.
After I added a fingerprint to my user, I noticed really long delays for unlocking the session (10-15 s). It’s interesting that there’s the same delay if I choose to input my password instead.
But as soon as I remove the fingerprint from my user, the delay is gone.
I tried searching but could not find anything relating to this except this ubuntu post, but it’s not helpful.
Apart from that, it works great, especially since all sudo commands can be confirmed with the fingerprint (even in the terminal). So it would be cool if I could solve this
