Setup gives an error message and wont install

Hi guys, Software gives a notification that there are updates (both apps and system), but if I proceed, it stops halfway and gives me the following details. Can someone help me with this? I really appreciate any help you can provide. The message is:

package google-chrome-stable-127.0.6533.99-1.x86_64 cannot be verified and repo google-chrome is GPG enabled: /var/cache/PackageKit/40/metadata/google-chrome-40-x86_64/packages/google-chrome-stable-127.0.6533.99-1.x86_64.rpm could not be verified.

Apparently packagekit has failed to update the gpg key for google chrome.
Have you tried the alternative method of updating with dnf?
sudo dnf upgrade
