Hello
I have just come to point out that since the upgrade to the Kernel 6.12.10, ethernet no longer works on my X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 (RTL8125). I should point out that I had installed this driver manually, because it doesn’t work natively on linux.
By switching to the previous kernel (6.12.9) it works again.
See you soon!

If you are installing drivers then you will need to repeat the driver build and install for each kernel you install.
A driver built for 6.12.9 will not be found by the 6.12.10 kernel.
RTL8125 should be supported by the mainline kernel with the r8169
driver - at least I have several machines with RTL8125 network controllers that work using it without installing any additional drivers.
The problem must therefore come from my motherboard
I tried to reinstall the driver on but it doesn’t work
What is the output of lspci -nn
and lsmod
?
It works again:
I updated my BIOS (I don’t know if this was the cause) then reinstalled the r8125-9.014.01 driver and ethernet came back instantly
