Hi all,
Again not sure if this is an iMac-specific issue but when installing Fedora 39 originally I had to remove “rhgb” from the kernel command line to disable the graphical boot splash otherwise I couldn’t enter my LUKS key.
Just tested again on Fedora 40 and the problem persists - the LUKS prompt appears for around half a second then the screen goes blank. Trying to blind-type the LUKS key doesn’t work, which makes me think it’s not accepting input.
I used the David Alger’s method for setting up LUKS while on Fedora 39 if that’s important: Fedora Asahi Remix with LUKS Encryption · David Alger
