Seems to be a simple question, I couldnt find the answer.
When I click on a link in an email (thunderbird), for example, the link opens in a new tab, but my browser (FF) isnt raised to the front. Anyone can help me fix it so that any window in which a tab or new instance is launched raises to the front? Do I need an extension?
In GNOME, opening an HTTP link from Thunderbird pops up a notification.
When you click on that notification, it should switch focus to the browser.
The latter part works correctly in GNOME 46, so consider upgrading.

Even that doesn’t switch focus to the browser… I think this used to work just fine in the past…
On my main machine I’d like to wait a little bit…
I found Steal my focus window - GNOME Shell Extensions and that what I want. It suppresses the notification and brings the “new” window to the front / in focus without any detour…
