Hi,
it seems that the windows key doesn’t work, specifically when I do Super+A it doesn’t open the area with all the apps and instead when with mouse gestures I swipe two fingers to the right it doesn’t navigate back to the browser history.
Is there a program to tell if my Super key is broken?
How can I change the keyboard keys and mouse gestures?
Did it ever work? You can either install one of the available keyboard tracking tools, or just go to one of such websites, e.g. this one. There you can press a key combination that is preferably not mapped on the machine, e.g. Super+Q.
Also, you could go to GNOME Settings → Keyboard → View and Customize Keyboard Shortcuts, and check that the shortcut to Show all apps is not mapped to something different.
This is, to my knowledge, not a default gesture under GNOME. It is a gesture on Macs though. Which makes me wonder if you’re using Fedora on a Mac, or with a Mac keyboard.
You can use “sudo showkey” to check whether your super key returns a code if you hit it.
Do you have this issue on a freshly installed system or an upgraded system? Do you use extensions?
