I’m a bit puzzled by the SMART data my hard drive is showing. Is it possible that KDE Partition Manager doesn’t support SMART monitoring for the system disk? (Or is it because of Gnome?) If that’s the case, could you recommend a graphical utility for Linux, similar to CrystalDiskInfo, that can safely check the SMART status and bad sectors of my system drive? For reference, I’m running Fedora Linux 41 Workstation Edition. Thank you so much XP
Looks like it’s a known issue with KDE Partition Manager and NVMe drives.
