In my computer firmware, I can set individual SATA ports as hotplug enabled or not.
I noticed in gnome-disks, for the drive enabled with hotplug, the “SMART Data” menu item is greyed out.
For those drive disabled with hotplug, “SMART Data” is available.
smartctl and smartd works with all drives no matter what is their hotplug setting.
How can I enable the “SMART Data” menu item for those “hotplug” drives?
