Very cool new project, not yet on Flathub. Would be worth keeping an eye on for future implementation in the variants.
TTS voices have progressed a lot, and have many use cases, from accessibility, to making regular apps talk (YT).
I found the lack of pleasant TTS voices always a bit sad, especially as even Apple had better TTS 10 years ago.
I have not tested PiperTTS in comparison to eSpeak when it comes to reading code, but Fedora should not be a platform just for nerds and I think it is better for pronouncing words.
