I started using RPM Fusion’s NVIDIA drivers for two reasons:
Right now there’s a problem with RPM Fusion’s NVIDIA (7020 – nvidia-470xx fails to build on 6.10 kernel), so it’s a good time to ask. Are there workarounds for both of these?
You are using an older nvidia driver and apparently using an older nvidia GPU that may require that driver.
Without more information I cannot say anything more.
The bug report you linked does not apply to everyone since there are recent threads here where the 470xx driver has been working with the 6.10.X kernels. It also is marked as FIXED.
The 470xx driver does not support wayland so if the issue is seen on the wayland DE I suggest you switch to X11 instead.
Please post the output of inxi -Fzxx and dnf list installed \*nvida\* so we can see what you have. Use the preformatted text button </> on the toolbar to retain the formatting on the text you copy & paste.
The rpmfusion driver is fixed for 6.10+
