Installed Fedora 35 cinnamon. I cannot add icons to the desktop. This happened to me with the Fedora 34 as well. I had to use the standard Gnome and then add cinnamon to work.
Anyway to fix this problem or should i report it as a bug so this can be fixed for everyone.
Before we report something we want to know a bit more about the problem. Maybe it is just a configuration you oversaw?!
Have a look in the settings under desktop:
Please open the pull-down menu of Desktop Layout and thel us which options you find there. Maybe take a screenshot.
