no audio on Mecer CA14D03 AFTER REPLACING WINDOWS 11 PRO WITH FEDORA 39.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP. BEEN TRYING FOR DAYS TO GET ANSWERS FROM EVERYWHERE.

Please be civil in your communications. On this forum using all caps is the equivalent of YELLING and none of us deserve that from you despite what behavior you may have encountered elsewhere.

We cannot assist without adequate information as to your actual problem.

Please respond with detailed information of what your hardware is, what fedora version and release you are using, the actual problem in detail, and possibly even links to other communications on other sites about this issue.

Hi. it was not my intention to sound as if i was yelling. I do appologize for that. i will remember to only use lower case letters in the future.
I have a Mecer CA14D03 (model). I uninstalled windows 11 pro and then installed Fedora 39. My issue now is that, since I installed the new OS(fedora 39) my onboard speakers don’t work at all. I do not have external speakers that I’m using. i don’t know which driver to use and basically I don’t have a clue how to fix this as I’m very new to linux. Is it possible for you to make some suggestions please?

I’m sorry, but I have little experience in fixing audio problems. There are others here who are more capable of assisting you.

I am also editing your title to remove the all-caps display.

Thank you for feedback. Remember that it is my first time using this platform. Not sure how to share my original message to others in this community. Can you please help to show me how?

I did the following:
sudo dnf install pulseaudio
systemctl --user mask pipewire.socket
Then reboot the system.
[rekcah123@fedora ~]$ pulseaudio --check; echo $?
0
Now it works perfect. Just for future reference. Thank you for your support anyway.
