Need clarification regarding the output of shutdown command and whether this is normal and what I did wrong?

So I just did an install on a Dell Latitude 7300 and as indicated in the terminal, the first thing I did was run a minimal upgrade. It appeared to be complete and said I needed to reboot. So I as indicated I tried to do this through the terminal and the resulting output created a remote group and a remote user.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I’m a little spooked. The quick search I did indicate that the gnome-remote-desktop is a legitimate RDP protocol (please correct me where wrong!), but I do not understand the context of my input resulting to the output as indicated in these screenshots. Can I have some help in clarifying how to interpret this?

Clarification: These screenshots appear to be in reverse order on my end. Apologies for this formatting I am on mobile.

You started typing when DNF was still in progress running scriptlets.
Type commands only when the shell returns a prompt.

I suspected this might be the case but I wanted to make sure. For clarification, you mean mangled in the sense that it looks confusing or that I did something that will require remediation?

Thank you!

Yes, it often gets confusing and may even become unreadable if you type the next command while the previous one is not yet finished printing messages to the standard output.

Gotcha. So I just need to be more attentive and read more man’s. Thank you for clarifying this for me so I can proceed with learning Workstation.

Problem solved. Have a good night/day @vgaetera .
