Nautilus not previewing files with spacebar after updating to F41

Hi there!

Following my F41 update (from F40), my Nautilus file manager does not allow me to preview files (png, jpg, pdf) with the spacebar.

After the update, the app had disappeared. So I installed it again from the Apps catalogue. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it again, but it didn’t help.

Would anyone here have a clue on what’s going on? Any workaround?
Thanks!

P.S.: I’ve seen somebody had a similar issue in a previous update: Nautilus 43.beta.1 not previewing files on pressing spacebar

P.P.S.: All I can see is that after running the command advised here, I get one line saying:

(org.gnome.Nautilus:11342): nautilus-previewer-DEBUG: 17:24:35.799: Unable to create NautilusPreviewer2 proxy: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name is not activatable

Is org.gnome.NautilusPreviewer.service running?

Hmm, I don’t know! How could I figure this out?

Eh, my mistake, I saw that file and thought it was a systemd service, but it appears to be a dbus thing. Do you have the sushi package installed?

In the meantime, I’ve done some more research and I have found out there’s a package built for file previewing called Sushi.

I installed it, and now it works again!
I don’t know if it was the best solution, but at least it works!
