same problem with Cinnamon desktop… (lightdm) works good for a while but afte 5 or 6 reboots, lightdm fails… don’t know why…
Seen this on F38 Budgie the last week or so.
Have previously fixed the issue in Solus, by enabling logind-check-graphical=true in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
Just started testing it today, to see if it will fix the issue again for me.

It could also be a kernel issue if you are testing kernel 6.3.9 or 6.3.10…
