Description

KDE Plasma 6 X11 session packages (unsupported!)

This COPR tracks the packages in Fedora and rebuilds select ones with x11 support enabled to produce the deprecated X11 session components.

Installation Instructions

To install the X11 session components, use these steps:

dnf install 'dnf-command(copr)'
dnf copr enable @kdesig/plasma6-x11-unsupported
dnf install plasma-workspace-x11

Recent plasma-workspace build failed, so I can’t install packages on Kinoite.

P.S. Now it works again.

Now Kf6 is released and Kf6 uses Qt6.7,so latest version of kwin-x11 is not compatible with kf6(and qt6.7)

I’m not sure that you need this CORP for X11 support.
At the moment, both plasma-workspace-x11 and kwin-x11 are available in the main Fedora repositories (at least for Fedora 40 and current Rawhide/41).

Understand. Anyway, thanks for providing X11 support for Plasma6 when there was no X11 support initially.
