KDE Plasma dual boot fails

Hello!
I recently installed the KDE Plasma as a dual boot next to Windows on my 2-in-1 laptop and everything worked more or less as planned. Maybe I should mention as additional information that I did the installation process twice because I forgot to create a user account for the first installation.
There was however no problem in booting after that, i could log into the kde plasma desktop without problem. After trying to start fedora today, the start up stopped after selecting the operating system (the options i get are: fedora 1, fedora 2, windows, uefi settings). Fedora 1 shows me a blank black screen and nothing happens. Fedora 2 shows me the three grey dots that usually appeared after start up, but then the screen turns black and shows a white underscore, then nothing happens anymore.
What happened?
Is anybody here who could maybe know / explain what happened?
Is there a way to fix it?
If yes, how?
If not, do I have to uninstall everything now?
If yes, how?
Is there the possibility that i damaged the hardware?

I am tremendously thankful for any help.
best wishes,
Laura :exploding_head:

Maybe an issue with the GPU driver.

Do you have an nvidia GPU?
Did you install nvidia drivers?
If so from where did you get the drivers?

When you see the black screen with blinking cursor you should be able to type Ctrl-Alt-F3 and get a login prompt. If that works we can investigate what is going on.

Please you directly click “Fedora…”, don’t click “Test…”

Thank you very much for your help. I have an Intel (Iris XE) graphics card, not nvidia. I tried to check the last startup with by typing “journalctl -k -b -1” and made some pictures of the parts that somehow sounded like error messages to me.

Maybe this is somehow useful information. But maybe i will just start from scratch again. Thank you!

You show the end of a kernel panic.
That will the cause of your problems.

You may have a hardware problem with your systems RAM
Based on the panic showing a call to exc_page_fault.

Try installing memtest and reboot and run it from the grub menu.
You need to run for a long time, overnight for example.

Post a new topic. I do not think your problem is related to this topic.
